Career prospects
The tuition offered provides training in sciences and engineering and prepares graduates for working in the type of multidisciplinary teams that are present in most current workgroups in public administration (environment, nature reserves, etc.) or private companies (agriculture and food, environment, pharmaceuticals, etc.). The agri-foods industry is a key sector in the Catalan economy and accounts for 17% of the GDP, which places it ahead of the chemical and transport material industries. The Catalan agri-food industry employs 77,300 people and is the national leader in its sector.
